Both Stevens and Walla Walla Counties are in Eastern Washington....... Also, listed is the only Richard EMERSON's in the 1940 - 1996 Washington State Death Index....... And neither one of these seem to be the same individuals that were in the 1930 Census....... It's possible that your Richard died before 1940...... therefore you'll have to go to your nearest LDS Family History Center and order the Washington State Death Index........
