I hav read:BIRTH RECORDS 1869-1907 and 1905-1907 for Yakima and Benton counties.( Paper and microfilm) Microfilm copies of Yakima Hearld Republic and Morning Hearld( same newspaper) for James birth,( if he was a home birth it might not be recorded but he may have sent for a DELAYED cert.)(our lib. didn't have those on indefinite loan) Nothing. but in the 1910 Yakima county census there are several Moores but not with a 4-6 yr old boy(and no mothers born in WA state) QUESTION? Since James got his SS before 1951 have you sent for the application? As for death records -all of our funeral homes have closed their files except to immediate families members, seems the state passed another sneaky one before anyone was aware!
