I forgot to add that if you are looking for an old birth record in WA State.....you might need to know that they have at the Archives in Olympia what they call “Late Recorded Births”. It was very common in the late 1800's to record a birth later.....and sometimes much later after it occured. Remember that many people were farmers and they didn't or couldn't get things recorded immediatley......Most children were born at home......... xxxxxxxxo Louise King
