    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/CCC.2ACE/2974.1 Message Board Post: When you are searching for someone, the reader needs information. First, put the name again in the message area, then put, for example, 'possibly born in Massachusettes in 1805' or, "born circa 1880 to 1890", parents names, children's names, wife's name, where you know he lived "lived in Washington State in the 1900's and died in 'tacoma' on March 3, 1924, or died in WA sometime in the 1920's. The 1880 census had 14 Walter's, none born in MA. 1920 had 26, none in MA. 1930 had 39, none in MA. Could he have had parents from MA, but born in NY or PA? Ifound a Walter C born in 1889 in PA, or is 1889 to young or too old? There are a LOT of different searches that can be done...but not on the little information that you have given.
