    3. ----- Original Message ----- From: Will What about the Wa. State census in the 1885/ 1895/ 1905 etc. Maxine http://www.genresearch.com/us_st_cen.htm offers a search of the WA 1890 census, which was population related...But, you have to pay $30.00 for an unindexed search, $15.00 for an indexed search. There are also a number of census' reports for Washington Territorial and State Census conducted in various years that are on various films, possibly at a Family History Center via the LDS church. Pierce County had an 1889, King 1887, 1857, 1880. There are also city directories for Tacoma and Everett spanning each year during that period. But...back to the first question, what additional information is owned. Let's say I find an Elmer Bronson in the 1885 city directory in Everett, and a Earl Bronson in the 1886 city directory in Tacoma. The first has a wife Adda, the second a wife Agnes. And a Eckerd Bronson, listed as being retired. Without further information as to the names, how do we know if this is or is not the right person. Did the E.C. Bronson living in Tacoma die there and there is no further records, or did he just happen to live in Tacoma in 1886 and move on to Sacramento, California. Is the lister just trying to track his movements, or trying to find family. This lister does not have enough information or reasons on E.C. Bronson to initiate a search for him or family. Ron
