Cecil, No matter how much information you have or how many web pages you have or how many people you're related to, even you are subject to the same rules as all posters. If you're posting to a RootsWeb list, the rule is: No Off-topic Posts. While some admins are more willing to allow them than others, the RootsWeb admins who've 86ed you had every right to do so. When you got caught breaking the rules and appropriate action was taken, you then became rude and disrespectful -- in messages posted on the lists -- to those who enforced the rules. They certainly do not deserve that kind of treatment. I don't know what joy you take in tearing apart lists, but I've watched you do it for many years now, and it's wearying. No, I'm not going to unsubscribe from lists that provide a wealth of information just because you're posting there -- plus occasionally you post something relevant to my research. But I will always wonder what sets you so much above everyone else that you feel entitled to break all the rules and not be held accountable. Beth
