The Social Security Death Index has 7 James born in 1912, two living in Mississippi (James J and James E, both 12 Sep), one in Virginia (James). A James in Virginia born 5 Sep. A James S on 7 Sep. James L in Arkansas and James 12 Sep in Texas. Do you have the DOB for Pauline/Polly? I find a Pauline Allen, born 4 May 1913, died Dec 1985, "last residence" Apopka, Orange County, Florida. (Last residence may not necessarily be where she lived). Her Social Security Number, 578-52-4939 was issued in the District of Columbia...So, are you looking in Washington STATE, or the District of Columbia? This site is for the State. Do you have any additional information? When/where was Dorothy born?
