    3. Could an informed person advise me about a few things about Washington State Genealogy Research. I find there is a digital data base for WA and it has death records as a part of it. Every time I try to access it, it locks up my computer. I know that it has 7 deaths listed under 'Spokane County Death Records' and 1 listed under 'Spokane Mortuary Reports'. Could someone access these and see if by chance there is a Malendeth Alfred (Dick) Dunn listed. He was born 2-20-1881 in Cowley County,KS. The last record I have of him is on the 1930 census in Lewis Co., WA. I have concluded he died sometime between 4-2-1930 (date of census) and 9-6-1945 (date of his sister's obit and he is not listed as a survivor). I am trying to determine when he died and where he died. He is not listed on the SSDI. Thanks for any assistance. Liz Freeman In Oklahoma!

I looked for ANY name beginning with "DUN" in Lewis County in the 1930 census and could find no one matching your criteria. I looked for Alfred Dunn, Dick Dunn, any names beginning with Malen* Dunn. I looked for Vernon Dunn. This is the current link to the WA Archives: http://www.digitalarchives.wa.gov/default.aspx

    1. [WA-L] Need Some Information - Thanks

    3. Ron: Yes, the 1910 census, the WW I draft reg. card, the 1930 census is all my guy. Malendeth (Dick) was a widow by the 1930 census. Vernon Dunn (his son) died in 1932 in NM while visiting there (appendicidis). I've not yet found out what became of his other son, David (born in 1914), nor his daughter Dorothy. The Johnny listed is a brother to Malendeth; the Katherine Dunn is a widow of a cousin. Like I say, I've narrowed down the date of death of Malendeth (Dick) Dunn to between 4-2-1930 and 9-6-1945 - most probably in WA. Right now I'm searching all the online cemetery listings (just on the off chance he can be found); and am checking every data base I can find. Trying to get into the WA archives has been a bummer for me. Every time it locks up my computer so I have just quit trying. Thanks for looking - one of these days I'll get lucky and find this dude Liz Freeman In Oklahoma!. 1910 Federal Census for Grand Valley, Beaver Co, Oklahoma Malendith A.
