I have been a silent reader of this list. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if WA has a state archives and what is its policy? I live in OR and can send email requests to ours. I only pay for copies and mailing. Does WA do something similar? Also I need to find out when my great grandmother died. She moved to Vancouver in Feb. 1925 to live with her daughter Louisa Fiske, wife of William. I do not know when she died. Obviously after 1925. Her name was Elizabeth Jane Bates.
