Hi all, I just joined this list so I thought that I would post my interests to see if anyone else on the list is working with the same families. My gr grandfather was Thomas Hughes from northern Wales. He was born in 6/20/1846. He married Jane Williams born 1847 also in Wales. They had five children all born in Iowa - 1. Elizabeth born 3/16/1873 who married Charles J Diebrel of Spokane. They had three daughters - Caroline, Eva May who married William J Acheson and had a son Charles W, and Margaret Jane who maried Wilbert C Yocum and had a Jr. 2. Richard (my grandfather) about whom I have all the descendents 3. John born either 6/1872 or 1879 (the census of 1880 gave different info than the census of 1900 about John's birthdate. I'm trying to check this out. 4. Sarah born 2/1880 5. Frank J born 12/18/1884 Thomas then married Anna Williams in 1889 (Jane apparently died although I cannot find the record of her death) and they had son Abner born in Almira WA. Abner married Mildren Hutsell and had a son Kenneth. If anyone recognizes anyone in this family, I'd sure be interested in sharing information with you. Thanks Bev
