    3. Greg, The Washington State Death Index is available on microfilm at many libraries, including the Spokane Public Library, and I'm willing to bet the Seattle and Tacoma libraries as well. I'm sorry that I can't volunteer to go look this up for you, but my time is not my own right now <g>. FYI, the people listed in this index can be confirmed most easily by knowing their approximate age at time of death, and certainly the county in which they died, as well as the approximate year. Marriages and parents' names aren't necessary for this index. Good luck.
