Registration will be held in the downstairs room under the Toledo Public Library building in Toledo, OR. There is plenty of parking and a bag lunch will be provided for $4.00 each or bring your own. Drinks and fresh fruit will be provided. Pre-registration ($7.50 per person) and meals ($4.00) must be ordered by May 1. Session 1B Beginning Genealogy — Pat Glau . Introduction to Genealogy, Frauds; Family Traditions; Filling out forms, with information on how and where to start; Using local resources. 10:45 - 11:00 Break 11:00 - 12:15 Session 2A I Knew Them—How Come I Can’t Find Them! — Connie Lenzen, CGRS. Methods to locate people in the 20th Century Session 2B Courthouse Research — Merrill Mosher, CG. How to research courthouse records and what you may find. 12:15 - 1:00 Lunch — “Subway Lunch” or bring your own 1:15 - 2:30 Session 3 Dating Your Old Photographs— Norma Eid. How to tell the time period for old photographs. 2:30 - 3:30 Bonus! — Norma will give one-on-one help on determining the time period of a photograph. Please, only one photo per person Following the last session the Library will be open upstairs for those interested or who would like some one-on-one help.
