Greetings All, I am seeking interersting information of the Dockton,Vashon Island,Washington area in King County. Ancestors names were Danielson, Nilsen, Halsan, Petteron, Amundson, Mac Phearson. Time period 1900- Adolf Halsan and wife Nikoline, children Marvin, Lauritz,Arnold,Bernice. Konrad,Lauritz,John,Adolf,Danielson fishing industry. Adolf and the Danielson were insturmental in building the little church which still stands in Dockton. It is a private resident now. Karen Halsan Olsen/Danielsen was the mother, who widowed, came with her family from Norway. Her daughters Alfrida Danielsen and Dena Danielsen married men from the island by the names of Pettersen and Aamundsen. Information regarding these famalies, or stories of fishing,living,history from the area would be greatly appreciated.
