John was 42 ad Goldie 35. Jacgueline's name was spelled "Jacquelin" without the "e". That could be important, there was no middle initial listed. She was listed with no age. The census was enumerated on April 2nd. So, she was born between April 1929 and April 1930. In Anybirthday.com, I found a Jackie R. Kerr, DOB: 9 June 1929, Living in zip code 73459. That is for Thackerville, OK., in Love County. County accessor website for Love County, identifies Jackie Kerr living with Peggy Mcintosh Kerr at RR 1 Box 1090, Thackerville, OK 73459. The Social Security Death index shows Jackie died on 26 Jul 1999 in Thackerville. Any contact would need to be made with Peggy www.dexonline.com identifies seven J. Kerr living in Washington. One in Nine Mile Falls, outside of Spokane. Washington Death Index, shows John H. death on 17 Oct 1954 in Spokane at age 68 (1886) Goldie B. Greenwood, death 27 Feb 1993, SSN 535-24-0311 Walla Walla newspaper identified aa Mrs. matthew Kerr, 620 E. Sumach as going into the hospital on January 27, 1954. Do you have her husbands name? A Mrs. George Kerr was teaching sewing. Without having all of the info that you may have...this is all that I can do at this time.

    1. The 1600s Ancestors Data Base Update
    2. First Families
    3. Hello Everyone: Those of you who are working on your lines back to your 1600s American Ancestors will find the 1600s Ancestors Data Base to be of great help. I have recently posted several hundred new Ancestors to the Data Base bringing the total to over 29,000 entries both men and women. Also listed are several National Societies who have proven many of the Ancestors you will find here. There are also a few new Reference Works that contain many more lines. The entries are coded to indicate to which Society or Reference Work has at least one of their proven lines. Several of the National Societies have over 20 different lines from a single Ancestor. WHEN YOU ENTER THE 1600s ANCESTORS DATA BASE be sure to look at the top of each data page for the link that takes you to the "Data Base Information Page". There you will find the list of codes and how to use them. This is MUST reading if you are to understand the Data Base and how to use it. We are constantly updating the Data Base with Additional Ancestors and references as time permits. More work has been devoted to updating listings of the female Ancestors by going back and including marriage dates. This takes much time and we still have a lot of work to do there. You will find the 1600s Ancestor Data Base at; http://www.firstfamilies.org/db/ For those of you who are AOL members you may have trouble connecting to many pages that may come up with a message such as "Page Does Not Exist" and you should cure that by using your browser feature of Copy and Paste the URL to your browser and pressing your enter key. Everyone has free access to the Data Base and to all our posted pages. Enjoy and Happy Hunting Ryan Jackson Data Base Manager America's First Families

    3. ----- Original Message ----- From: Will What about the Wa. State census in the 1885/ 1895/ 1905 etc. Maxine http://www.genresearch.com/us_st_cen.htm offers a search of the WA 1890 census, which was population related...But, you have to pay $30.00 for an unindexed search, $15.00 for an indexed search. There are also a number of census' reports for Washington Territorial and State Census conducted in various years that are on various films, possibly at a Family History Center via the LDS church. Pierce County had an 1889, King 1887, 1857, 1880. There are also city directories for Tacoma and Everett spanning each year during that period. But...back to the first question, what additional information is owned. Let's say I find an Elmer Bronson in the 1885 city directory in Everett, and a Earl Bronson in the 1886 city directory in Tacoma. The first has a wife Adda, the second a wife Agnes. And a Eckerd Bronson, listed as being retired. Without further information as to the names, how do we know if this is or is not the right person. Did the E.C. Bronson living in Tacoma die there and there is no further records, or did he just happen to live in Tacoma in 1886 and move on to Sacramento, California. Is the lister just trying to track his movements, or trying to find family. This lister does not have enough information or reasons on E.C. Bronson to initiate a search for him or family. Ron

    1. PENLEY or PENLY - Any Connection PLEASE
    2. Janice R Freeman
    3. If you are or know of any one who is a PENLEY or has a PENLEY relative, PLEASE contact me. I am trying to up-date a PENLEY genealogy that has a number of PENLEY descendants of Joseph 1 PENLY who was b 1755 in England and arrived in Freeport, ME in 1770. Joseph is a Rev War patriot. We know of one grandson of Joseph 1 who went to Canada as early as the mid 1840's and had descendants that lived in Quebec, Ontario, several western provinces, and went to northern US states along the Canadian border. Joseph 1 was 1m 1780 to Esther 5 FOGG JOHNSON, widow of Joshua JOHNSON, by whom she had 2 daus, Esther and Elizabeth JOHNSON. Esther was a descendant of Samuel 1 FOGG who was in Hampton, NH in the mid 1600's. Joseph and Esther had 10 ch before Esther d in 1796. Joseph 2m 1797 Thankful MOODY and they had 6 children. Joseph died in 1844 and was buried beside Penley Corner Church which is 3 miles south of Auburn, ME. During the 1940's - 1970's, Rev Robert Irving 6 PENLEY did a tremendous amount of research on the ancestors in England and the descendants of Joseph 1 PENLY. Some lines were brought up to as late as the 1950's, but some lines are not followed beyond the mid 1850's when a number of descendants left ME for MA and beyond. Another descendant and I are working to find and bring as many of these lines as up-to-date as possible. If you have or know of anyone who is a PENLY / PENLEY or has a PENLY / PENLEY relative, PLEASE contact me with as much of the direct PENLEY line as you have, clearly identifying the earliest known PENLEY ancestor, so we can work together to bring as many lines as possible as up-to-date as possible. This summer marks the 250th anniversary of Joseph 1 PENLY's birth and we would like to have as much data as possible ready for our annual Reunion at 2 PM on July 10th (2nd Sun in July) at Penley Corner Church, Auburn, ME. Most grateful for any additions, corrections, or help with any PENLEY connections. Janice

    3. As far as I know this is not new. I have many relatives I mail to in Canada and I always have to follow those rules. I always have had to declare exactly what I send for Christmas and also it's value. Gift or present will not work sending to any country that I am aware of. Australia has the same rules. It just makes sense to me. I do not feel any reason for alarm when this has been what I have had to do for many years. Actually I think if they were not doing this in some places it is good they have to now. Maggie At 12:07 PM 2/3/2005 -0800, you wrote: >This is some info that I have come across.
