It was, or is, in Pierce County about 20 miles SSE of Puyallup. I know it was still in existance in 1926 when my great grandfather died there. I have also talked to people who indicated it was still operating as late as 1990.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/CCC.2ACE/2371.3 Message Board Post: Today I visited the Pierce County Assessor's Office since they were the ones that gave the information to the Washington Internment Assoc./Wa State Funeral Directors Assoc. publication of Cemeteries, Burial Places and Funeral Homes. They said they had no information about the cemetery and suggested I call one of the larger funeral homes in Tacoma. I called Gaffney and the woman was stumped but intrigued by my question. They called one of the companies that makes and places their markers. This place told her that the Burnett Cemetery was the Catholic Cemetery on the outskirts of Wilkeson, WA. I called Wilkeson City Hall and the woman on the line had never heard the Catholic Cemetery called Burnett Cemetery. She told me that the Catholics still manage the cemetery. I will contact the Archdiocese and hopefully they will be able to help. Thanks to all that have replied with guidance and suggextios.

(Maiden name Ottolino) The name Sanders was put on my birth certificate but is not my real fathers name. I was told that my real father brought my mother and I home from the hospital to my grandparents house Tony and Mary Ottolino who lived off of Rainer Avenue. (Not quite sure if that is true.) Also, there is a possibility that he has red hair because I do. If anyone has information to this little puzzle, my children and I would greatly appreciate anything you might be able to offer. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Marge sent the following email to her Snohomish County List... and that's find and dandy... but I thought you all might want in all this deal Yah all know how Carroll Clark writes...this will be an opportunity to view him LIVE and in PERSON.... <lol> Serious folks... Carroll can spins TRUE stories better then most.... Hope to see yah all tomorrow nite. Darilee Hello, ListFolks! I know I PROMISED to give you a "heads up" re: the SIGS meetings - would you believe I just checked my calendar and, BY GOLLY! it's March already! (Where did February go?) Here's the straight scoop on the March SIGS meeting - March Meeting - 5 March 7 PM program will be presented by Mr. Carroll H Clark, noted Snohomish historian, who will speak on local history and characters from this area. Having been born and raised in the area and taught at many levels, he has many stories to tell. March Workshop Classroom 6 PM The class workshop sessions will continue to be helping with brick wall problems unless otherwise noted. Bring your most persistent brick wall dilemma written on a small index card. Marge and team will code it and add it to the SIGS website Personally I'm looking forward to listening to Carroll Clark - list subscribers know him well, and he is a real "Snohomish County Treasure". I'm keeping my fingers crossed (gosh, it's hard to type with crossed fingers!) that Carroll will include "The Earl of Snohomish" as one of his topics! Hope to see you all at the Martha Lake Community Center - if you need driving instructions, check out the SIGS web page at http://www.rootsweb.com/~wasigs/index.htm BTW, at the meeting, you can also purchase tickets for the SIGS Great Second Annual Great Quilt Raffle (although, I just KNOW that I'M gonna win that quilt!)
