I am seeking an obituary for Anna May Adams Mielkey who died in Tacoma, Pierce Co., WA on December 9, 2001....she was married twice that I know of...She was married to Frank Adams in Feb of 1939 then they divorced then she married Floyd Mielkey in May 1949. I am not sure if she remarried..I have no additional information on her...just that she was the daughter of John Jacob and Rose Belle Nelson Alsip. She did have a child by Frank Adams...her name was Nellie Adams...born April 14, 1932 in Arkansas City, Cowley Co., KS...and died there too....Sept 25, 1999....Nellie was married to a Woodward... Floyd Mielkey died April 12, 1963 KS....so as I said I am not sure if she remarried after his death. Any help is appreciated on this matter... Stephanie Grohol

Is the town named Cle Elum, near Ellensburg in Central Washington? Contact the funeral home in Cle Elum, they must have records of where the person was going to be buried in Seattle. Then contact the cemetery in Seattle. The death certificate may also provide the place or a newspaper obit.

If they do not have any record, then it is a very old cemetery, probably a family plot on private land. You might review land records in the vicinity for the Burnett name.
