Many of us are willing to help but need that "little piece of info" to help out. If you know where Union Planter Cemetery is... you may consider posting directly to the county in Washington where that is.

I try to rescue some of the identified ones and return them to living family members. Last weekend I found an old photograph taken in the late 1800s (?) of beautiful young "BERTHA E. CLOW - Age 17 yrs." It was taken by DuWall Photo Co. in Colfax, Washington. No other information on the back. The photo was found in Hendersonville, NC. This little town in the North Carolina mountains has a large retirement population. It's entirely possible that Bertha married, and later retired, moved to and died in Hendersonville. Sadly, when someone dies here, there is no immediate family around to claim their possessions, so they end up being sold to the antique stores. If anyone out there is a descendant of Bertha, drop me an e-mail and I will send you the photo ... no charge. Please mention Clow Photo in you subject line so I won't delete. If you are using Ancestry.com's census images... Did you know that you can use various options..... such as Fran* [note the star] that is known as a wildcard...... and in the case of St John and that type of name for surname and/or county you have to try it both ways.... StJohn [note no space] or St John [note the space]...... You can use the "Wildcard" for the "Given" and/or "Surname"...... NOTE: You must use 3 or more for the name..... Example: Fra* - Fran* - Franc* etc..... Hope this is of some help..... Bertrand also has had an address at 405 George Rd in Memphis, TN. in the recent past. Perhaps he has moved to Tennessee. Another thought is to contact the owner of the Everett address from which he rented--they may know of his whereabouts.
