    1. [WASHINGTON-L] Murdock & George Parkinson Family
    2. Bryan King
    3. Hi All I'm looking for descendants of Murdock Parkinson, he was born June 30, 1891, in Bidwell Township, Manitoulin Island, Ontario. He moved to Washington State about 1920. Murdock died in October of 1966, with his last residence being Centralia, Washington. He had a son George R Parkinson, who was born August 25, 1911, Canada, and died in September of 1981, in Everett, Washington. George also had a daughter June E Parkinson born about 1920, in Canada. I'm just hoping that someone recognizes this family, and is able to put them in touch with me. My thanks to Mary Lou, and Heather, from this list who helped me with the Social Securitly & Census data. Bryan King Calgary, Alberta

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CCC.2ACE/2474 Message Board Post: Looking for details on Ida E. Norton, born circa 1871 in Wyoming, daughter of John Norton and Cynthia C. unknown. John was born circa 1835 in Alabama and died Feb 1895 in Chehalis County, (now Grays Harbor) Washington. In the divorce of my great granduncle Fulmer Moore from Ida E. Norton, she was charged with "adultry on or about April 1897 with person or persons unknown at a house of ill-repute on "G" street in the city of Aberdeen, Chehalis County, Washington." The 1900 census of "G" Street" in Aberdeen does not show any structure that might be construed as the above mentioned 'house.' Does anyone have more information on this location or on Ida E. Norton? Thanks for any help.

    1. [WASHINGTON-L] Lucy Ann Brassfield Ryan disappearance in 1900!
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Brassfield Lamson Ryan Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/CCC.2ACE/2473 Message Board Post: I am researching my g grandmother Lucy Ann Brassfield Usher Lamson Ryan. Timeline for Lucy Ann Brassfield: 1842 Lucy is born in Grundy County, MO (date of birth could be 1840) (place of birth often shown as TN) She is the daughter of Major Onthal Minter Brassfield and Jane Splawn. 1855 Lucy marries Alexander Usher in Wright County IA (first marriage in Wright County) 1865 Lucy marries James Hartley Lamson from NY, probably in MN 1866 Lucy has first child, Cora Maybelle Lamson in Ramsey County MN 1874 Lucy has second child, Phelan Leroy Lamson, probably in IA 1877 Lucy leaves Concordia Kansas on wagon train bound for Oregon, she is about eight months pregnant. (apparently without James H. Lamson, or he dies on the trail, but never arrives in Oregon) 1877 Lucy has third child, Sara Jane Lamson, near Ft. Kearney KS 1877 Lucy arrives in Walla Walla area (possibly Weston, OR) 1877/78 Lucy puts two daughters with other families in Amity OR (Sara Jane Lamson becomes Minnie Maud Sibbets) 1879 Lucy marries Thomas Ryan in Walla Walla WA (4 Sep 1879) 1880 Lucy is shown on Umatilla County Federal census (Blue Mountain/Weston) with Thomas Ryan and all three children. 1891 Thomas Ryan leaves for Idaho, is possibly killed in an accident in 1892. 1896 Lucy is one of several heirs to father's estate, she is living in Meacham, OR 1894-98 Lucy buys and sells real estate in Meacham OR 1899 Lucy divorces Thomas Ryan for abandonment (Umatilla County OR) 1900 Lucy sells lot in Weston OR to daughter Cora, signs doc as Lucy Ryan. This is the last record I have found for Lucy. Apparently she remarries, moves somewhere else, dies, something! In 1900, following the census, Cora and John Brassfield move from Weston to Walla Walla. NOTE: Cora's mother Lucy is a Brassfield of the Othnal Minter branch of the family. Cora marries John W. Brassfield, of the Dennis Michael T. branch of the family. In about 1906/7 Cora and John, with 10 children move to the Puyallup area where they are shown on the 1910 census. Thanks for any information you can provide. John Brassfield

    3. I have also traced my lineage back to Joan of Acre. I would have to go into my hard copies to find which of her children, and the copies are packed away right now. Interesting, however. I will look when I feel better.
