I hav read:BIRTH RECORDS 1869-1907 and 1905-1907 for Yakima and Benton counties.( Paper and microfilm) Microfilm copies of Yakima Hearld Republic and Morning Hearld( same newspaper) for James birth,( if he was a home birth it might not be recorded but he may have sent for a DELAYED cert.)(our lib. didn't have those on indefinite loan) Nothing. but in the 1910 Yakima county census there are several Moores but not with a 4-6 yr old boy(and no mothers born in WA state) QUESTION? Since James got his SS before 1951 have you sent for the application? As for death records -all of our funeral homes have closed their files except to immediate families members, seems the state passed another sneaky one before anyone was aware! I would like to contact person(s) who had the responsibility of caring for the affairs of Elizabeth Naoma (Austin) Wilson. I believe their surname was Austin and that they live in Redmond, WA. She married Ananias Wilson (my grandfather) about 1939 in Oregon. Went to Seattle after his death in 1963, and she died there about 1997. Her parents were Clark and Margaret Austin. She had sisters named Orpha and Ruth. The person taking care of Naoma's affairs may have been a son of one of these ladies. (One of them married a man also named Austin) Anyone in the Redmond, WA area that could check telephone directories for Austin? I would appreciate any assistance with this. I believe the State of WA is holding money that Naoma left at her death that her family could have. I would also like to obtain an obituary and the location of her remains. Thank you, Karol Wilson Gale California
