Their DOB/DOD, locations, etc are definately unknown. Any information relate to these names would be helpful. Ok...Do you know what State they were born, died in, where they lived, where they are buried, have you visited their gravesite? Who were their children? You can NOT go back in generations without having knowledge of the preceding one. If you look for the child, it leads to the parent. With that said: The 1930 census shows a Harlow Wall living in Marsh, Snohomish County. He was 45. He was living with Ruby Walls 40, and her mother Margie Marks, Female age 67. It was Margie's home. This residence was home to the children of Harlow: Harry D, son 19; Joseph son 16, Marion son 13 and Willard O, son 7. The following were identified as grandchildren to Margie: Jack 11, Edward 2yrs 6 months, and "Onal ?" 9. Margie was born in Ohio. Ruby in Ohio, Harlow in California. Harlow was a water driller. Ruby lived in a Cannery. In the 1920 census: Margie, Harlow, Ruby, Harry, Joseph, Marion, and John age 1 were living together. Margie's parents were born in PA. Harlow's father in PA, his mother in Minnesota Harlow E Wall died 24 Sep 1950 in King County at age 65. John Frances Mihelitch. In 1920 was living in Union, Snohomish County. He was 60, born about 1859 in Germany. He was living with Maggie, wife, age 55 born in Illinois, and Katie, daughter age 22 born in Dakota Territory. John was a farmer of several farms. He died on 10 Sep 1943, in Snohomish Co.

Imagine how many Thomas Baker's, Tom Baker's, etc, died in World War 2. Do you have his date of birth, place of birth, parents, where did he live before going to war, was he married at the time, have any kids, etc, etc, etc. Where is he buried? If in the US, his gravestone may have birth info. Do you have or have knowledge of his death certificate, Army Air Corp records, Service records, I'm sure that Darl (? is this Daryl or other spelling?) or one of the family has information. Before you can start asking outside the family, you HAVE to ask the family for information. Ron Bestrom

    3. If you have the date of the death, you can order newspapers for that date through inter-library loan via your public library. They are on micro-film. I do this quite often. Usually they are free, but some do charge. I order some from Nebraska and they charge $10.00 per roll. Unusual. Sooooo much info is right at your door step. The National Archives are in Seattle, you can research census info there. Ancestry.com has census info. The Seattle downtown library has city directories for most of the State. The state birth and death index are at the library.
