Hi All, There is a new service on the Internet called Genforum. This is a place to post messages and queries of surnames to a message board instead of lists. This will likely become the next giant step in genealogy on the Internet. This site has incorporated surnames which are already popular among online researchers. Type in your query or respond to those posted by others and moments later your post is on a web page for the world to see. A caveat: Some listowners feel this site has violated copyright laws by using surnames identical to those at RootsWeb and John Fuller's list of lists. This place is NOT a mailing list. It is another source of information on our surnames. Whether you choose to use it or not is of course your choice but I thought you would like to know about it. Personally I feel it is the best thing since ged-to-html conversion programs. Check it out and you may see some of the queries I've posted.
