Who was JAMES DAVENPORT to the WASHBURN decendants?? My line of WASHBURNS came to Illinois with a man name THOMAS FITCH DAVENPORT he was of the famous Rev. JOHN DAVENPORT who came to this country with our pilgrim fathers. I have some Henry county Illinois History books that have wonderful biographical portraits of these DAVENPORTS. Now are these DAVENPORTS from the same line as JAMES DAVENPORTS???? CINDY
