They were members of the Old Baptist Ch there and he was involved in the Freemasons in Troy and in Cheshire MA. I have a record that shows that he was a Founding Pioneer of the Freemason Lodge in Cheshire in 1794, as was Asa BIGELOW, his brother-in-law.
