John, I find no evidence that ANY Washburn family was in Deerfield, MA as early as 1757. For those interested in the discussion of Luther Washburn it would be best if ALL read the Mayflower Descendant article that appeared in vol. 42 no. 1 Jan 1992 we will at least then be discussing the same thing. Keep in mind what we are discussing is NOT who are the parents of Luther Washburn who married Sarah Spinning what we ARE discussing is Who is Luther Washburn, the son of Jonathan Washburn and Rebecca Perkins?
