Hi John, Many thanks for all your excellent scholarship on the WASHBURN lines. Do you suppose that Manassah WASHBURN could have been from this family? Anne Raymond and I have been looking but not found his parents anywhere. We think his father was named Ephraim but only because his first son was so named. Could he have been adopted or an illegitimate son -- what would be the proof in such a situation? Any thoughts? Again many thanks for all your fine work. Alice Gordon
