NY), wife: Orilla Stevens Nehemiah Jr (b. 1795 in MA, d. 9/7/1886 in St. Lawrence Co, NY), wife: Harriet Martin Abel (b. 1797 in MA, d. ????), wife: Nancy Ira (b. 1804 in MA, d. 1887 in NY), wife Milense/Melany Curtis? Nehemiah is believed to be the brother of a Captain Rufus Washburn who was also born in CT, moved to Otsego NY, and drowned in the Oswegatchie River in St. Lawrence County NY on 4/17/1817. Rufus was married to his cousin twice removed, Patience Washburn, daughter of Miles and Sarah Lyons Washburn. Rufus had 8 children (Sally or Sarah, Amasa, Nehemiah, William, Sabrina, John, Hannah, and Lucinda).
