    3. This is the short will of Bethiah Washburn, mother of Flora Washburn and her sisters. It goes with my previous posting on the will of Flora Washburn. It is from the probate docket of Bethiah Washburn, also found in LDS Microfilm #0577879, which is Bristol County, Mass., Probate Records. Will of Bethiah Washburn I Bethiah Washburn of Raynham in the County of Bristol, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of sound mind and memory, blessed by God therefor, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, viz.- First, I give my body to its kindell dust to be decently buried in hope of a glorious Resurrection on the last Day. Secondly, I give one fifth part of my wearing apparel, and one fifth part of all the real Estate of which I may die seized, to the daughters of the late Debby Thompson wife of Rev. James Thompson of Barre, and the other four fifths of it, to be equally divided between my four Daughters, viz. Stella, Flora, Julia and Amelia. If it be the will of Divine Providence that I should survive any or all of my married daughters, my Will is that the portion designed for them, shall be given to their daughters- And lastly, I hereby appoint my two Daughters viz. Stella Deane and Flora Washburn Executrixes of this my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the Eighteenth day of March in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty-seven. Bethiah Washburn Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named Bethiah Washburn to be her last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, who have hereunto subscribed our Names as Witnesses, in the presence of the testator: Cassini Shaw Clarissa Shaw Nathan W. Shaw The will was first presented in court by Stella Dean and Flora Washburn on 6 Nov. 1838, and was proved in court on 4 Jan. 1839 by the witnesses, Cassini Shaw, Clarissa Shaw and Nathan W. Shaw. Ellis Hall was the surety for Stella Deane and Flora Washburn. Ellis Hall, Cassini Shaw, and Artemus Leonard were appointed to appraise the estate of Bethiah Washburn, late of Raynham, on 28 Feb. 1839, which was valued at $745.00. Dennis Rockwell was granted power of attorney to sell a portion of the real estate interest of Bethiah Washburn on 6 Feb. 1863 at the home of Flora Washburn, which consisted in an undivided eighth part of a tract of wood and meadow land of about 20 acres, the said share belonging to William H. H. Deane and others, minors and children of Charles F. Deane, deceased. The heirs that signed were difficult to read, but appear to be: Wm H.H. Dean, Chas W. Dean, Davie U.A. Dean, Nancy S. Dean, Eloise A. Dean, Nolan? M. Dean, Stella M. Dean, & John M. Dean of Chicago, minors, under the guardianship of Eloise A. Dean of Chicago.     3. Hi Listers: Does anyone know if there would have been one particular family line of Washburn's that might have settled in western NY - particularly in counties of Wyoming, Livingston, or Genessee? Judy
