Dear Lyn... Wonderful to get your Washburn Bible (correction). Although I can't definitely tie in, I was thrilled to find the name as WORSHBORN. My father-in-law pronounced his name like this (with the "r"), also his grandfather, who is the earliest I have been able to trace, was supposed to have been born in NY, and many of the given names are alike -- Mary, Benjamin, etc. I think there may be some connection to your line.
