"Which Josiah Washburn married Sarah Richmond?", The Mayflower Quarterly, Feb., 1982, p. 12 - 17, gives excellent information on the Josiahs. "The Richmond Family" by Joshua B. Richmond, 1896, p. 10, gives Sarah's mother as Rebecca Thurston, daughter of Jonathan and Sarah Thurston, b. 28 Nov 1689, the second wife of Edward Richmond.
