    3. Mac, <<The "History of Bridgewater" and a few other books can give you tons of information, if you have the time to get to them before you leave. Since most of the tombstone in that period were slate, most of them are quite weathered and most cemeteries have signs that forbid the making of tracings or rubbings to read the stones, so you may want to look into a battery powered blacklight which will do the same, but without the contact. Each area has the cemeteries well cataloged, so the information is all on file, "if" a person has the time.
