Hi all, I'm trying to find if any of my Washburn ancestors were Revolutionary War vets. Is there anything published on a list of vets. My ancestor, Peter Washburn was born in 1750 in Bridgewater, MA in 1750 and would have been about the right age to serve. Thanks for your help. Marc Chambers southeast Virginia

Marc, Check with your local "Sons of the American Revolution" ( SAR ) Chapter. The SAR has a CD called "SAR Patriot Index". The SAR can be located on the web using a search engine.
