This is for Dale: Mayflower Families, VOL 12, Francis Cooke: Josiah Washburn, born Bridgewater, 12 May 1686, died bw 27 Jan 1733/4 Married 1st: Elizabeth Davenport 1723, 20 June, 1723; she died about 1724/5 Married 2nd (about 1725) Sarah Richmond, prob. born in Taunton, dau of Edward Richmond and a desccendant of Pilgrim Thomas Rogers. After Josiah's death she remarries Samuel Crane. Thus in the VR of Bridgewater her death is under Crane The marriage is confirmed through her father's will in Taunton, and various other estate dispositions, as are the children. Children of Josiah and Sarah were: Mary b. abt 1727 Josiah, b. abt. 1729 Silence, b. abt.1731 Jonathan, b. abt 1733 Bridgewater VR: Silence Washburn m. Jesse Washburn. Dec. 20 1748 My Bridgewater references don't have anything further for Silence & Jesse, No births are recorded there, nor deaths. Your Elisha is more elusive, as are children of Jesse and Silence. Did they move out of Bridgewater? Do you know when Elisha was born, died, married or who?
