I am looking for parents of Rueben Washburn. Born probably between 1750 and 1765. He was married to Dorcas ? and had a son Sylvanus who was born August 20, 1785 in New York state. Sylvanus married Salona Mansfield about 1816 in Milton, Vermont. They had 6 children in Milton including my gggrandfather William Norman Washburn. Reuben's wife Dorcas is buried along with Sylvanus and other members of the family in Milton, Vermont. Cannot find Reuben's grave. Reuben is listed in the 1820 census in Vermont and in the 1830 census in New York. Any information was be greatly appreciated. Also have information to share of other descendants of Sylvanus.
