Hello to all Washburn Researchers, My Washburns, as far back as I've researched, originated from Maine. Specifically Bangor or the region around Bangor, Me. Due to a broken link of communication between my father, Alfred T. Washburn and his mother, Cora Washburn, a complete line of the Washburns remains unknown to me. Let me try to explain. Thomas F. Washburn b1859, d1904 son of Eliphalet and Elise Washburn married Daisey Marguerite_________ around 1888. They had two sons. George E.T.Washburn bMay 1890 and Alfred Henry Washburn b1895, dJuly 1927. Alfred Henry married Cora James Washburn in 1926. Alfred Henry died(results of WW1 gases in France) one month before my father, Alfred Thomas Washburn was born (only child). Along with that Cora James Washburn (so I've been told) despised her mother in law, Daisy Marguerite. Hence, I'm left with no idea where George Washburn was, when he died, or where any of his offspring may be. My desperate request to all of you out there is, is there anyone who is a relative of, or is there anyone who has knowledge of George or his offspring who originated from Bangor, Me? After the death of Thomas F. Washburn in 1904, Daisey Marguerite remarried to a William L. Bridger and per the 1920 census resided in Boston, but there is no sign of George. I've found going back in time is somewhat easier to research than coming up to the present. I'd love to trade historys and photos. Any response is appreciated, Regards, Rick Washburn [email protected]
