I am looking for information on Alphonso Gustavus Washburn and Nancy E. Hatch from Springfield, Vermont married in 1866. They are my Great-Great Grandparents. I know from Alphonso's obituary that Nancy grew up in Weathersfield, Vt. she lived most of her married life in Springfield, Vt. where she died in 1886, and is buried. She may have had a sister Emma Hatch Nelson and a brother Edward Hatch of whom we have pictures. The obituary also states that Alphonso was born in Weathersfield Vt., in 1837, the son of Alphonso G. Washburn and Sarah Upham, he left two daughters Miss Cora M.Washburn and Mrs. W. F. Whitcomb and also four sisters, Mrs. Henry Parker of Charlestown Nh, Mrs. Elias Olney of Springfield, Vt., Mrs. Annette Garfield of Glens Falls, Ny.,and Mrs. Henrietta Spurr of Springfield, Vt. Burial was in the family plot at Springfield. Arley
