Jean, Sorry, I can't place either Ephraim or Philip there. By the way I had ancestors in Washington County but their surname was Amidon, including a Moses Amidon who fought in the Revolution. He migrated from Connecticut also. Do you know why folks from Connecticut ended up in Washington County after the war? Was it bounty land? I have been trying to take notes (and store in PAF) any Washburn that came directly from CT or any Wahsburn that lived in upstate NY (afer the R. War). I only have a spread sheet at this point to list my notes and PAF note pages. I was curious if you knew if your Ephraim washburn could be the one in the census of Washington County NY? or could the Philip you show be the one in the census of Washington NY? I have been following Hope, Israel, etc in upstate NY and saw Ephraim there with a son Martin. Just curious. Jean
