Hi there, Luther Washburn, I believe to be one of my ancestors. He fought in the Rev. War from MA. Luther Washburn, b.1757, m. Sarah Spinning in 1779, d. 1848. Sarah, b.1761 & d.1839. They lived for awhile in Vermount before going to Lee Twp., Oneida Co., NY after the Rev. War. Are you including him in your spread sheet? Although, not from CT, we have seen recent discussions on the list as to who might be this Luther's parents. I am still looking for the parents of Samuel Washburn, b.c. 1811 in Oneida Co. NY, m. Susannah Sager in Northumberland Co., Ontario, d.c. 1866-71 in Ontario. I think, but still haven't proven that Samuel was a son of Martin Washburn, b. 1782, m. Martha Curtis in 1802, d. 1868. Martha, b. 1786 & d. 1844. Martin was definately and son of Luther and Sarah (Spinning) Washburn. Always looking for more information on this line. Diane in Michigan
