    3. Hi, Here are the other two marriages for John Washburn b. ca. 1672 , d. Kingston 17 or 27 June 1750 in his 79th year. ; He m. 2nd ca. 1717 Wybra/Wiborah Bumpus , b. Plymouth 15 May 1672 , d. Kingston 6 Feb. 1743/4 in her 72nd year , dau. of Joseph and Wiborah (Glass) Bumpus. He m. 3rd Plympton 13 June or 13 Dec. 1744 Mehitable (Barrow) Wright , dau. of Robert and Ruth (Bonum) Barrow of Plympton and the widow of Adam Wright . There was no issue of the 2nd or 3rd wife. In regards to ; <<<WASHBURN FAMILY FOUNDATIONS by Mabel Thacher Rosemary Washburn says John probably d. 1721 when guardians were appointed for several minor children. We know, of course, that she was mistaken. DEATH RECORDS FROM THE ANCIENT BURIAL GROUND AT KINGSTON, MA says John d. 17 Jun 1750, as you do. However, I wonder if she was right about the guardians. When his father was about 60, he couldn't care for or support himself and had to have a guardian. Did something similar happen to John?>>> Mayflower families says ; Because Lydia (Billington) Washburn's children inherited her part of the estate of her brother , Seth Billington , who died in 1718 , there were guardianships 22 Sept. 1721 for the children of John Washburn . Elisha , minor over 14 years , chose Francis Adams , clothier of Plymouth , guardian . I would love to include <<< I also have marriages for ch/o Deacon John & Lydia (Billington) if you can use them.>>> these in my files.
