Thanks again Peter - I didn't realise St Michael's was the cathedral (hadn't done my homework!), so now I remember visiting the war ruins on a school trip and I can completely understand your point, that it's surprising any registers survived. It certainly makes me feel better about the information I am lucky enough to have. Good luck with your CARPENTERs.
