    3. Hi Mike, Janet & Maureen Thank you so much for all your kind and generous help I am slow! finally found it by going to the London records Couldn't find a marriage for William Fairlie Fergusson and Jane in 1875 though I have the index record but no real image But good news yes Margaret Effie Taylor was her also found William Fairlie Taylor Birth. Father was there but crossed out William Fairlie. Jane was now at 3 Reaburn Crt Only thing I need to find now is them arriving in Australia at Queensland. Didn't arrive in Victoria or SA Always thought this list was super Cheers Marilyn from Western Australia At 03:52 PM 13/01/2013, you wrote: >Hi Marilyn > >The marriage bond and allegation is on Ancestry . >5 Sept 1865 >Appeared personally Jane Trendfield of All Saints >Knightsbridge----spinster 21 and upwards Licence John Taylor of same >district 21 and upwards > >Mike >On 12/01/2013 13:42, Maureen Eden wrote: > > Hi again Marilyn > > > > There is a marriage on FreeBMD for Jane Trenfield to John Taylor in > > Westminster Registration District in 1865. >------------------------------- >List archives are at http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/index/WARWICK > >------------------------------- >To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to >WARWICK-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the >quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. Hi Marilyn Have you tried electoral rolls to try refining the date when they arrived? I see they had a son in Queensland in 1878 who died the same year. http://www.ausbdm.org/lookup.php?st=QLD or the State Library http://www.slq.qld.gov.au/resources/family-history/info-guides/occupations Incidentally, did you know that William was listed on the 1851 census as being at Rugby school? That may be an avenue of research to pursue as well if you haven't already. Regards Ellen <Only thing I need to find now is them arriving in Australia at Queensland.
