Hello, At that date basically all there is available are burial records as registering deaths didn't start until July 1837. OTOH there's a faint possibility that a death might be mentioned in a local newspaper, but even then it's unlikely to be little more than a paid announcement unless it was [say] as the result of an "interesting" accident or the deceased was locally famous. It might help were you to let us know the full details you already have - the name, date, and source - as those just may give additional clues.
