    1. [WAR] Cosford?
    2. Hi list! Have been looking over the Register of Baptisms in the Parish of Newbold Upon Avon. Several members of my tree were listed from Cosford and Long Lawford. Batch Number! Where is Cosford? My tree members are all from Warwickshire. Even on the census from time to time they list Cosford. Just curious. Thanks Sandy

    3. wikipedia says (found using google.com) "Cosford is a tiny village and civil parish in the Rugby borough of Warwickshire, located a few miles north of Rugby. According to the 2001 census it has a population of 11 and a more recent estimate by Rugby Borough Council puts it at 13" It was included in the Parish of Newbold On Avon as was Long Lawford and Little Lawford for the 1841 and later census records. (I transcribed, checked or validated the 1841 & 61 & 91 for Cosford - and they are online) Most of the inhabitants of Cosford used Newbold on Avon church for baptisms marriages and burials Not sure how many people lived there in the earlier years but I doubt there were many dwellings there at any time. If you try a google search you may even find some photos! Cheers Wendy Hi list! Have been looking over the Register of Baptisms in the Parish of Newbold Upon Avon.
