    3. G'Day All Has ancestry,co.uk withdrawn their free access to the BMD Index images for England & Wales? I have tried to access them (I do not have a sub to ancestry) and have been unable to find the link to the pages. Seems the free access has been withdarwn or altered in some way since the last time I searched. Thank you Wendy

Yes, the free access has been withdrawn. It was long suspected that they would do so and they have, very much on the QT as well. www.freebmd.org.uk does have images as well that are free. The direct link is http://images.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/choose.pl It's a slightly long winded way of finding what you want though. -- Charani (UK) OPC for Walton, SOM

    3. Wendy Ancestry , about 2 mths ago , withdrew the Free Look Up for BMD, and the records are now available for subscribers only . Sometimes I have been able to use the access them through another site , but that incidence is becoming more rare. Free BMD is still Free on Ancestry and always will be .
