Hi Wendy and Fellow listers world wide, I am researching the following REEVES family. So Far I have trawled the FREE look up side of Ancestry for my lot. Spent 12 hours in one session searching any name with the letter R picking out any possible names for my partner to look up. Nothing was to be found any where for any of the names so I have come to think they have been totally miss transcribed completly. I realise that some of the REEVES family may not still be living at home by the time of the 1841 census. Now in some other census years you can trawl the different areas inside warwrickshire. Can you do this with the 1841 and if so how can you do it? Any clues most welcome. So here are my missing lot.... Joseph REEVES born Abt. 1790 somewhere in Warwickshire we assume Maria REEVES nee WYKES Same as above for her Children... Benjamin REEVES born Abt. 1815 Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England William REEVES born Abt. 1817 Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England Rebecca REEVES born Abt. 1819 St Lawrence, Foleshill, Warwickshire, Eng Joseph REEVES born Abt. 1821 St Lawrence, Foleshill, Warwickshire, Eng I have Benjamin in the 1851 and 1861 census as a married Man. First in Gloucester City for 1851 mistranscribed as REVES and then in Crumlin, penmaen district Mynyddislwyn, Wales for the 1861. Here he was miss transcribed as Benjm REEVES. Any help most appreciated. Kathy HILL New Zealand Committee Member Welsh Interest Group http://www.rootsweb.com/~nzsgwig/ wignewzealand@yahoo.com.au -- We've Got Your Name at http://www.mail.com!
