    3. Two strands meet - a few days ago, John Baylis told us about the grave of William George Stretton that he had found in Australia . According to the 1851 census, William was living with his family at 107 Wood Lane, Aston. His father was Thomas Stretton, a chemist, was born in Yardley, Worcester in about 1801. Small world.
