Hello all again Does anyone have access to the apprenticeship records of Coventry please. This is a long shot though. My William Thacker was born in Warwickshire in around 1806 according to the 1841 census taken from Pickard's Pink Pages, a wonderful site with masses of informaton for Warwickshire people. This is all the information I have and is below: Harnall Lane,1,William Thacker,35,,Ribbon Weaver,WAR, ,,Esther Thacker,,35,Ribbon Weaver,WAR, ,,Ann Thacker,,15,Filler,WAR, ,,Ann Thacker,,60,Semptress,WAR, Enumeration District 1 Coventry Holy Trinity Book 1 Folio 66 page 6 As you can see he was a ribbon weaver and I was wondering if he is in the Coventry apprenticeship records, this would be around 1818/20 I suppose. This might give me the name of his Dad, I have his Mum's first name as you can see from the census record. I might then be able to pinpoint him. Of course he may not be in Coventry then of course if he was born elsewhere in the county. As I said a long shot!! The 1851 census is not helpful for him! Well not so far. Thank you all Mary
