There tends not to be so much of an obsession with having "royal connections" here and for many it's just an interesting aside - like my own. It's a fact that anyone who is descended from a native of England from 200 years ago has Royal blood in their veins. Their having Welsh ancestry shouldn't make any difference. Either way, the OP is going to have to do some work. There's unlikely to be a nice convenient GED available.
