Hi everyone I am seeking the birth details of Sarah Veazey, born in Warwickshire around 1806. She appears in the 1851 and 1861 censuses, married to John Langford. The references are HO 107/2019/526/29 and RG9/2015/38/21. Unfortunately I cannot make out her birthplace. The nearest I can get is Holyhurst, but I cannot find such a place in Warwickshire. Her children by a previous marriage, the DEGVILLEs, were allegedly born at Atherstone. Any suggestions would be welcome. TIA Peter

There is a Hollyhurst in Bulkington Parish. South West of the village - it appears to consist of a couple of farms and cottages. Hello Peter, There is a Sarah VEASEY's baptism on the IGI at Bulkington, WAR, on 20 October 1805 - daughter of Wm & Elizabeth. There's also a Sarah Ann VEASEY 10 days earlier in Wolston - d/o William & [unnamed], and a Sarah VESEY at Clifton on Dunsmore on 27 Apr 1806, d/o Solomon & Mary, and born 16 Mar. All 3 would fit your estimated birth year of 1806 - which is about 3:1 more likely to be 1805 than 1806 when one considers the Spring date of the Censuses - but my money's on the first one, as she most-closely matches your spelling of her name.
