    3. Hi listers My John Herps was born Nuneaton,Warwickshire 1794, he was a ribbon weaver. He was sentenced for 7yrs and transported to Australia 1818 for theft. I am trying to find his ancesters back in England , if anyone can help with any information on this family I would be very grateful .Thank you. Jan Australia

Suggest you try EARPS in Nuneaton and surrounds The IGI lists several families- batch number C042431 But also try Mancetter & Chilvers Coton There is a child John EARP christened at Mancetter in 1795 Parents John & Ann Batch C043703 Do you know of John's trial date and where he was tried?
