Hi, I am new to this list and was hoping some kind person could help me. I am looking for information about Oscar STRIEDINGER and his wife Ethel Mary. On the 1881 census he was aged 5 and living at Hope's Harbour, Bray's Lane, Stoke, Warwick with his parents Otto and Alice Louisa (m.s.DUMBLETON). Does anyone know the maiden name of Oscar's wife, Ethel Mary? Also when and where they were married. I do not know if Ethel Mary died or was divorced before 1924, as Oscar was cited as co-respondent in a divorce between Edyth PERKINS and her husband John W. Oscar subsequently married Edyth in 1925. Hi I notice the Dumbleton surname for Alice. I have an Ann Dumbleton married to William Hammonds. She was born 1834 in Coventry. Her parents were Sarah and William Dumbleton. William died around 1840 and Sarah Dumbleton married William Hammonds father Thomas. In 1851 and before the Hammond name was spelled Homan in the records. William and Sarah Dumbleton also had a daughter Sarah. Have you traced your Dumbleton family. I'm wondering if Alice is related to William in some way.
